Public Health Liberation is hosting a national webinar and conversation on encounters with system barriers in meeting health needs. Our special guests are Linda Brown and Douglas J. Koch. They will be sharing an intimate look into their personal experiences and the experiences of their loved ones to meet health needs and access resources. Objectives

• Identify and describe the five domains of Public Health Liberation

• Describe inadequacy of current public health approaches in accelerating health equity

• Identify features of the US health care system that have created barriers to care for populations with disabilities, women, people of color, and older residents and retirees.

• Identify non-clinical structural and technological features that promote and hinder health-related behavior and access to resources

• As a group, generate ideas for system fixes to achieve health equity
